Calling All Cowboys and Cowgirls!

Dust off your boots and grab your bandanas.  It's time to volunteer for Wonder Junction - Western-themed summer kids program.  

We’re changing it up with a start date of June 23-26 from 3 pm - 6:15 pm.  We still need help in the following areas:

Recreation leader -  you’ll do 20-25 minutes of games for ages 4-8 

Dress Up Like a Cowboy/Cowgirl Day

We are asking for donations for Kid’s Time.   

• We will need cowboy vests, suspenders, and bandanas.  I have already purchased some cowboy hats.
• The following would also be appreciated: fabric paint markers, water balloons, face paint or cash contributions.

Online Class Available

June 9, 2025 at 9 p.m. EST - Beginning with a discussion of covenants in the Bible, Lyall Armstrong, our missionary to Lebanon, will be holding a series of online (Zoom) discussions on issues related to the Israel-Palestine conflict.  If you would like to participate, please register at https://forms.gle/wQSrf8Pc9KChFqpt6 for the online event and to receive materials to read in preparation for that session.

Opportunities to Serve

Mark 10:45 - “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

We have many opportunities to serve.  Here are just a few:

• A/V TEAM - If you enjoy working on computers, or you working on a soundboard, speak with Colleen Moore.  NOTE: We will train you.
• CHILDREN’S MINISTRY - We need a teacher to be on a rotation.  If you are interested in learning more, please see Toni Dardeno.
• CLEANING TEAMS - If you’re available to fill in when needed, or want to be on a monthly rotation, please see Beverley Steitz.
• FACILITIES - See Karl Baldrate to learn how you can help with maintaining our facilities. 
• FIRST IMPRESSIONS
•       Greeters - All it takes is a smile, handing out bulletins, and opening the door.  See Carl Accardi.  
•       Welcome Desk - See Lilla Barrett.
• MUSICIANS - If you play guitar, drums, or any other instrument, and enjoy praising God with your talent, speak with Matt DeVries.
• NURSERY - Our nursery is growing and we need workers to rotate weekly watching our little ones.  Speak with Bobbi-Jo Abasta.
• OUTREACH
